Loving God
As we reach the first stage of stationing in the Methodist Church, as leaders meet to match Ministers and circuits together for September 2024, we ask your blessing on this whole process. For all in East Anglia tasked with the decision making and especially our Chair- Revd Julian Pursehouse and Jennie Harries the lay stationing representative and circuit invitation committees.
We ask for wisdom and discernment of gifts being offered as we think of all involved who may be feeling anxious about moving on and to where, for circuits and churches concerned about the future. Lessen our anxieties and help us to listen to you and to trust in you, even if there is not an immediate match or visit.
We pray for churches and circuits that they will be open and ready to welcome new people into their communities remembering that Ministers may have loved ones with them for whom this is also a big step. In particular we pray that the right match will be found for Central Norfolk Circuit, and that the Circuit Invitation Committee will be ready and willing to meet with a potential Minister.
All this we bring to you in the name of Jesus.
